Itinerary

DAY 1: ZANZIBAR - ARUSHA TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Flight Zanzibar – Arusha.

After breakfast, you’ll leave Arusha and drive about two hours to Tarangire National Park. On the way, you’ll see Maasai villages and wide-open grasslands just like the Africa you imagine.

Inside the park, the land is dry and golden, with the Tarangire River flowing through it. This river is important because animals come here to drink, especially in the dry season.

You’ll see elephants, zebras, and antelopes near the water, plus big Baobab trees and thorny acacias. For lunch, you’ll stop by the river for a picnic but watch out! Monkeys might try to steal your food.

As you drive around, you could spot lions, leopards, buffalo, and many more animals. If you’re very lucky, you might even see rare ones like the Greater Kudu or Fringe-Eared Oryx. At the end of the day, you’ll head to your lodge or camp to rest, listening to the sounds of the wild as night falls.

Day 2: DRIVE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

We’ll start early with breakfast before heading to the Serengeti. The drive takes about four hours, passing through the cool, foggy forests of Ngorongoro.

Keep your eyes open you might see buffalo, baboons, or even elephants hiding in the trees!

Optional Stops (Extra Cost):

1. Oldupai Gorge Museum – Called the “Cradle of Mankind,” this place has some of the oldest human fossils ever found. You can learn about early humans and enjoy the view of the rocky gorge.

2. Maasai Village Visit Experience Maasai culture by watching traditional dances, visiting a real village, and maybe buying handmade souvenirs.

Afternoon We’ll stop for lunch at the park, then start our game drive in the Serengeti! This is the Africa you’ve dreamed of wide-open grasslands filled with lions, giraffes, zebras, and maybe even cheetahs or leopards.

Dinner and overnight in the heart of the Serengeti Natonal Park according to the standard and the type of accommodation requested from our options.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today’s tour departs around 6am in search of nocturnal predators returning from their night’s hunting or animals waking up in the early dawn. Breakfast boxes will be prepared and you will take a brief stop for a bush breakfast to enjoy the sun rise. The adventure continues toward the Grumeti River, where we’ll track the Great Migration (seasonal).

Along the way, we’ll search for Serengeti’s famous predators—lions, cheetahs, and leopards—that thrive in these plains. A stop at the Seronera Information Center offers insight into the park’s fascinating history and ecosystem.

Midday Break:

Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch and refreshing drinks, with time to relax during the day’s peak heat.

Afternoon Options:

1. Evening Game Drive: Head back out as temperatures cool for another chance to spot active wildlife.

2. Guided Nature Walk: Explore on foot with Maasai guides, learning about traditional plant uses, animal tracks, and bush skills.

Day 4: NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Crater considered by some to be the Eighth Wonder of the World..The home of over 120 species of mammals including the Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most

sought-after safari destinations in the world. It’s a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you’ll be able to observe and photograph some of Africa’s most recognizable faces. The crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and more. It is truly one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.
